What is Coby?
Coby is a patient management platform that connects independent physicians and practitioners with patients seeking to utilize certain prescription therapeutic treatments. Through advanced telemedicine solutions, Coby Health enables licensed healthcare providers to conduct remote medical consultations and care. Coby does not directly provide medical or pharmacy services and payment does not guarantee the prescription or dispensing of any medications.
Is Coby Safe?
Coby works with leading independent physicians and practitioners to evaluate your health history and determine whether or not any medication is appropriate for you. While Coby does not directly provide any medical or pharmacy services, Coby is confident the medical providers we have contracted with can effectively handle your condition.
How does Coby work?
It's easy! To start, create a Coby account and complete a medical assessment specific to the medication you’re seeking. After submission, a doctor will review your health history an information and approve or deny your request based on the details provided. If approved, your prescription will be sent directly to one of our pharmacy partners, who will then ship the medication directly to you.
What states are served by Coby treatment programs?
Certain treatment types may not be available in your area, and this may change over time. Currently, we are able to offer GLP-1 medication programs to users in all states except Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and New Mexico.

Patient Accounts & Billing

Does Coby take insurance? What payment methods are accepted?
No, Coby is not in network with any insurance companies and does not accept insurance as payment. Coby accepts all major credit cards and debit cards.
When will my card be charged?
You will only be charged for your order if you are approved by a licensed medical provider.
How can I update my account details and payment method?
To update your account information, including contact details and payment methods, log in to the Coby patient portal. Once logged in, go to the 'Account Settings' section under your profile. Here, you can update your credit card information and other personal details.
What happens if my credit card is declined?
If your current payment method fails or is declined, our system will automatically try processing the payment again. If the second attempt also fails, we recommend trying a different credit card or contacting our Customer Support team. They can assist you in updating your payment information to ensure your service remains uninterrupted.
What is your return/refund policy?
Once an order is shipped, refunds are not possible. We will work with our pharmacy partners to resolve any damage-related issues during delivery. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds or reimbursements for prescription products for reuse or resale, and all transactions are considered final. If you believe there have been any errors in dispensing or shipping your prescription, please contact our team at hello@cobyhealth.com.
How much does Coby cost?
Coby aims to provide transparent pricing for its weight loss programs and other therapeutic areas. For the most updated pricing information, see the specific treatment page.
Why do I see a charge on my credit card if my visit was not approved?
When you submit an online visit, we pre-authorize your credit card for the full order amount. If your request is denied, we release the pre-authorization, but it may take several business days for your bank to update your statement.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Coby does not require any subscription for weight loss medication. However, if you do select the subscription option, please cancel your subscription at least 30 days in advance to ensure that you are not charged for the following month.
Can I cancel my order?
Once a prescription is issued and sent to a pharmacy partner, the order cannot be changed. While we will attempt to cancel it, cancellations are not guaranteed. If cancellation is successful, a $50 non-refundable visit and clinical fee will be deducted from your refund.

Why is there not enough medication in my vial?
Our pharmacy partners follow strict regulations and guidelines to ensure your medication is accurately prescribed and dispensed. In some instances, pharmacy partners may use a larger vial (for example, 5ml vial) for an initial dose of a smaller amount (for example, a 1ml dose). This might make the amount seem insufficient when in fact the amount if correct. This approach is designed to ensure precise dosing and to maintain the integrity of your treatment.

Telemedicine Information

How fast will a doctor review my health information submitted through the Coby questionnaire?
Coby strives to have a partner medical providers evaluate your health information and make a determination on your eligibility within 24 hours of submission. If you have not received an update within 24 hours after submission of your questionnaire, please contact us at hello@cobyhealth.com.
What do I do if I am experiencing any side effects from the medication?
For any medical questions, including any side effects, you should contact your medical provider through the Coby patient portal and provide all relevant information.
Can I start at a higher dose if I am currently taking a GLP-1 medication?
Yes, it its possible for you to transfer your care from another provider to Coby and continue on your current titration or maintenance schedule/dosage. Please provide your previous and current usage of any GLP-1 medication as part of your health questionnaire so that your medical provider may properly review such information.
Do I need to complete any lab work to be approved for GLP-1 medication?
In certain instances, your medical provider will request that you complete certain lab work prior to starting a GLP-1 medication. If you have recently had the relevant lab work completed as part of a regular check up, let your medical provider know through the patient portal. Such recently completed lab work may suffice.
Do I need to complete the health questionnaire and have a consultation with a medical provider if I have already used the same medication before?
Yes. Even if you have previously used or are currently using a GLP-1 medication, you must submit your health information to the medical providers through the Coby platform. Please note in your health questionnaire any such previous or current usage of the relevant medication.
